The Christian call to mission is summed up in these words from the Gospel of Luke: " The spirit of the Lord is upon me: therefore, he has annointed me. He has sent me to bring glad tidings to the poor, to proclaim liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind and release to prisoners, to announce a year of favor from the Lord." Below are several organizations that embody the spirit of these words. If you are unable to volunteer, please consider making a financial gift to these or other organizations.
